Resolved Question: Wanting to move from Alabama to California?

I've lived in Alabama all my life, I am 26, married with a 3 y/o daughter. I'm tired of living in Huntsville, Alabama and I feel I need to get out. I'm depressed here and I just want to get out. I don't have a lot of money or anything, but do own the house (even though its in my mother's name). I want to start getting "my ducks in a row" and making plans to move out there.
